Location: The house Muntaalva is situated at the entrance of the village of Champfèr in a quiet and sunny location. The bus stop and shopping facilities and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The cross-country ski trail is also within walking distance.
Champfèr is a village in the Upper Engadine between Silvaplana and St. Moritz. The border between the two municipalities runs along the Ova da Suvretta stream right through the village. Politically, Champfèr belongs to both St. Moritz and Silvaplana. The Lej da Champfèr lies to the south of the village, the northern part of the Lej da Silvaplauna.
